Tehâfütlerde ilahi hürriyet’in mahiyeti

Tanrı, âlemin varlığını izah etmede müracaat edilen metafizik bir ilke, sebep midir yoksa iradesi ile âlemi yaratmış hür bir fail midir? Bu sorudan hareketle yaratmanın mahiyetinin sorgulanması, yaratmanın bir zorunluluk sonucu mu yoksa iradi bir fiilin ürünü mü olduğu konusunun araştırılması, aynı zamanda ilahi hürriyetin mahiyetinin araştırılması anlamına gelmektedir. Bu sebeple çalışmamızın konusunu Tanrı'nın fiillerinde hür olup olmadığı meselesi teşkil etmektedir.

Is God a metaphysical principle of the universe or has He created the universe with his own will? Based on this question, so as to question the nature of the creation to study whether it was compulsory to create or a voluntary act have the same meaning as to study the nature of the divine freedom. That's whay the subject of our study consist the matter whether or not God is free in his acts.
