Türkiye’de e-iş uygulamaları: ilk 500’e giren sanayi işletmeleri üzerine bir araştırma

Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerindeki hızlı gelişmeler ve internetin yaygınlaşması , işletmelerin e-İş sistemlerine olan ilgisini arttırmıştır. Bu çalışmada, e-İş sistemlerinin gelişimi kısaca incelendikten sonra işletmeler tarafından yaygın olarak uygulanmaya başlayan e-İş sistemlerinden Kurumsal Kaynak Planlaması (ERP), Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi (SCM) ve Elektronik Ticaret (E-Ticaret) sistemleri kısaca tanıtılmış ve Türkiye'de üretimden satışlara göre ilk 500'e giren işletmelerde uygulama düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Ele alınan e-İş sistemlerini uygulamaya başladıktan sonra işletmelerin performansının ne yönde değiştiğini ortaya koyabilmek amacıyla ürün, üretim süreci, maliyetler, diğer finansal göstergeler, teslimat, tedarik, esneklik ve müşterilerle ilgili ölçütler kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre, işletmeler arasında en yaygın olarak uygulanan e-İş sisteminin ERP olduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Ayrıca, performans ölçütlerinin her birine göre e-İş sistemleri uygulamaya konulduktan sonra işletme performans iyileşmekle birlikte, performans artışlarının istenen derecede yüksek gerçekleşmediği ortaya çıkmaktadır.

Advancements in the field of information and communication technology and spread of the use of internet have increased the interest of businesses in e-business systems. This paper explains the development process of e-business systems; introduces the reader to commonly applied e-business systems by businesses such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Electronic Commerce (E-commerce) and evaluates the application of three e-business systems at top-500 Turkish businesses, calculated according to their sales from production. In order to determine in what way the performance of businesses has changed after they started applying the e-business systems, such criteria as product, production process, costs and other financial indicators, delivery, supply, flexibility and customer have been employed. First of all, the paper argues that the most widely used e-business system is ERP. Secondly, according to each performance criterion, although e-business systems improve the business performance after they have been applied, this improvement fails to reach the expected and wanted levels by businesses.
