In this paper, essays of Hüseyin Arif about Bulgarian painting art published in the «Shehbal» (Şehbal) magazine in 1914 are considered and the reception of this art in Turkey is examined. In addition to this, it is tried to reveal how the magazine attempted to affect the changing process experienced in our country through Bulgarian fine arts.
