Sanal eğitim-öğretim ve geleceği

Teknolojinin egitim ve ögretim ortamına sundugu en önemli iki deger bilgisayar ve internettir. Bu iki yapının okullarda birlikte kullanılmasıyla ögrenme veriminin artabilecegi düsünülmektedir. Hatta okulların dısında herhangi bir ortamda bilgisayar ve intenetin kullanılmasıyla bireysel ögrenme mümkün hale gelebilecektir. Ancak gerçekte durum böyle midir? Bilgisayar ve internetin egitim ve ögretime katkıları hangi düzeydedir? Bilim dünyası günümüzde uzaktan egitimin geleneksel egitime göre durumunu saptamaya çalısmaktadır. Yapılan arastırmalar henüz uzaktan egitimin geleneksel egitime göre daha nitelikli oldugu denencesini belirgin olarak dogrulayamamıstır. Bilgi ve iletisim teknolojilerinin kullanım amaçları bir bakıma onların egitim ve ögretimdeki gelecegini de belirleyecektir. Bu çalısmada internetin egitim ve ögretime katkılarını ve internet temelli ögretimin niteligi belirlenmeye çalısılmıstır. Bu arastırma çevrim içi ve geleneksel egitim ve ögretim konusunda henüz devam etmekte olan tartısmalara katkıda bulunma, gelecekteki egitim ve ögretim yönelimlerini belirleme açılarından önemlidir.

The most important two values which technology presents to the education and training environments are computer and internet. By using these two structures together in school, it is thought that the efficiency of learning will increase. Also, by using it in any environment out of schools, individual learning will be possible. But is it really so? To what level do computers and internet contribute to education and training? The science world has been trying to determine the situation of the remote education in comparison with the traditional education. The researches done so far haven’t confirmed whether the remote education is more qualified than the traditional education yet. The aims of using knowledge and communication will, in a way, determine their future in education and training. In this study, we have tried to define the contribution of internet to education and training and the quality of teaching based on internet. This study is important because it contributes to the discussions continuing on traditional and online teaching and it determines the future methods of education and training.
