In this study, the premises, the reasons for selling and the worth of houses that were in Amid (today called Diyarbakir), which was a central county of the Diyarbakir State in the first half of the 18th century, were studied. It is understood from the records that the premises of houses of that time in Diyarbakir comprised of rooms, cellar, kitchen, restroom, courtyard, iwan, basement and water well. It is seen that the premises of the house, its location and its supply/demand situation affected its price. Qadi’s Records, which have a very diverse content, contain administrative, political, religious, and social issues.
