Türkiye’de geleneğin reddi ve ortaya çıkan estetik sorunlar

Proto-Türk evresinden başlayarak sanatsal kimlik süreçlerinin önemli bir değişime uğramadan devam ettiği görülür. Dokumalar, mimari, resim geleneği ve diğer görsel yaratıların, birbirleriyle ilişkili gelişim aşamaları ve sürekliliği, ayırt edilebilir niteliktedir. Bu sürecin kesintiye uğraması ya da kırılmaların yaşanması, Osmanlı'nın batılılaşma dönemine denk gelir. Avrupa'da Rönesans'la birlikte Hıristiyan geleneğin reddiyle başlayan süreç, Osmanlıya 18. yüzyıl başlarında ulaşacak ve Türk-İslam geleneğinin reddine dönüşecektir. Doğu estetiğinin geçmiş dönemlerde Platon ve Aristo ile kurduğu bağ ortadan kalkarken, modernizmin pagan kültürünün, tek tanrılı inanç kültürü içerisinde eritilme imkânı olmayacaktır. Geleneksel Türk sanatlarının reddi, çağdaşlaşmanın gereği olarak görülürken, yeni estetik anlayışın hangi temellere oturtulacağı sorusu, günümüzde devam eden tartışmalara konu olacaktır. Türk sanatı estetiği, geniş anlamıyla doğu estetiğinin sorunları, bu makalenin çalışma konusunu oluşturur.

By starting phase of the Proto-Turkish phase, it is seen that the processes of artistic identity continue without undergoing an important change. Interrelated stages of development and continuity of textiles, architecture, painting and other visual creations can be distinguished from nature. Interrupting of this process or occurring of breaks corresponds to the period of Westernization of the Ottoman Empire. In Europe the process beginning with rejection of the Christian tradition together with the Renaissance will reach to the Ottomans in the early of 18. century and will turn into a denial of the Turkish-Islamic tradition. While the relation that the Eastern aesthetic contacted with Plato and Aristotle in the past eliminated, it will not be possible that the pagan culture of modernism will be dissolved within the culture of monotheistic faith. While rejection of the Traditional Turkish arts is seen as a requirement of modernization, the problem on which bases the understanding of new esthetic is putted, will be subject to ongoing debates today. It seems certain that Turkish art aesthetics, the aesthetics of the east will be shaped with these debates.
