Turizmin erzurum ekonomisi için önemi

İpek yolunun antreposu, kültür, sanat ve tarih şehri Erzurum, bu günlerde 2011 Universiade ile adını tüm dünyaya duyurmaktadır. Erzurum ekonomisi için lokomotif sektör olma yolunda hızla ilerleyen turizm sektörü, hak ettiği ilgiyi son dönemlerde yakalamayı başarmıştır. Artık sadece Türkiye’nin değil, dünyanın en önemli kış sporu merkezlerinden biri olma yolunda ilerlemektedir. Bu çalışma, dünya ve ülke turizmi de dikkate alınarak, ilin mevcut turizm varlığını ve yarattığı ekonomik etki hakkında bilgi verme amacını taşımaktadır.

Erzurum, the antrepo of silk way and cultural, historical and art city, has declared its name to all the world with Universiade 2011 nowadays. Tourism sector, which is the locomotive sector for the economy of Erzurum and is developing in this field, rapidly has achieved the success that it deserved in recent times. Now, it is developing for being one of the most important ski-centers of the world. This study has aimed to give information about tourism potential available in the province and the effect of economy which it created.
