Tarih metodolojisinde tarihsel analiz

Tarih “araştırılmış haber” demektir. Tarihin konusu ise insanla ilgili her şeydir. Tarihçiler, tarihlerini yazarken bazı yöntemler geliştirmişlerdir. Modern tarihçiler ise, araştırmalarında tarihsel analizi temel esas olarak kabul etmişlerdir. Tarihsel analiz, olayları tabiat bilimleri gibi laboratuara taşıma imkânına sahip olmasa da olaylara konu olan devlet, toplum veya medeniyeti oluşturan unsurları parçalara ayırarak tahlil eder. Bunu yaparken parça ile bütün arasındaki ilişki zincirini göz ardı etmez, olayı bir bütünsellik boyutu içinde ele alır. Tarihsel analiz yapılırken; tarihçiden, tarihsel olaydan, olayın anlatıldığı dilden veya olayın siyasî ve ideolojik yapısından kaynaklanabilecek problemler dikkate alınmalıdır.

History means “investigated news”. The topic of the history is everyting related to the human kind. Historians has developed some methods to write their historical studies. As for modern historians accept historical analysis as faundamental base. Historical analysis analyses the elements of government, nation or civilization which are the subject of the events by breaking them into peaces, although it has not a possibility to take them in a laboratory as in the case of natural sciences. When doing this, it does not disregard the relation between the part and the whole, treats the event in the dimension of a whole. As historical analysis has been performed, the problems due to the historian, historical event, the language in which the event has been reported, or the political and ideological structure of the event must be taken into account.
