Kur'ân'ın amaçları açısından tatma duyusuna bir bakış

Kur’an’a göre evrendeki varlık ve olaylar insanın Allah ile ilişkisini sağlayan vasıtalardır. İnsanın evrendeki nesnelerle kurduğu tat alma tecrübesi de Allah ile kurulan ilişkinin vasıtalarından birisidir. Kur’an tat alma olayını ve tat objelerini insan-evren-Tanrı üçgeninde değerlendirir. Kur’an’da tat alma duyusuyla ilgili âyetlerde tatmayı ve lezzet almayı ifade eden kavramlar yer alır. Kur’an bu kavramlar aracılığıyla tat alma duyumunun insan sağlığı için önemine ve insan yaşamına kattığı ruhsal zenginliğe dikkat çeker. Kur’an’a göre tatma duyumunun en önemli işlevi, insanı ilâhî gerçekliğe yönlendiren bir vasıta olmasıdır.

For the Koran, the entities and events in the universe are the means ensuring man’s relations with God. The experience of tasting that man establishes with the objects in the universe is one of the means of establishing relations with God. The Koran deals with the tasting event and taste objects within the framework of triple network of man, universe and God. The Koranic verses concerning the sense of tasting contains concepts expressing tasting and taking pleasure. With the help of these concepts, the Koran emphasizes the importance of the sense of tasting for human health, and the spiritual richness it contributes to human life. For the Koran, the most important function of the sense of tasting is its quality as a means for directing man to the divine truth.
