Kur’an’daki tarihî anlatımlarda maddî varlık ve etkinlik ilişkisi

Kur’an’daki tarihî anlatımlar, ahlâkî değerlerden yoksun tek başına maddî gücün, tarih boyunca toplumların varlıklarını ve etkinliklerini uzun sürelere taşımaya yetmediğini ortaya koymuştur. Buna göre, sadece maddî güç temeli üzerine kurulan bir uygarlığın varlığını ve etkinliğini yürütme süresi sınırlı olmuştur. Bir toplumu ayakta tutan ana sütunlardan biri kuşkusuz maddî güçtür. Buradaki sorun maddî gücün yalnız, desteksiz ve denetimsiz bırakılmasıdır. Bu güç, kendisine bütün benliği ile teslim olan sahibine aşırı güven ve büyüklenme duygusu vermekte ve onu denetimi altına almaktadır. Maddî gücü her şey olarak algılayan toplum, artık yaptığı yanlışları göremeyecek duruma gelmekte ve hiçbir uyarıya da aldırış etmemektedir. Böyle bir yaklaşım tarzı ise, toplumların etkinliklerini kaybediş ve çöküş sürecini hızlandırmaktadır. Tarih, bu anlayışın çökerttiği toplumlara birçok kez tanıklık etmiş ve bu kayıtların yer aldığı sayfalarının sürekli olarak okunmasını istemiştir. Kur’an, bir toplumun güçlü ve kesintisiz olarak varlığını sürdürebilmesi için maddî gücün, manevî ve ahlâkî gücün destek ve denetimine alınması gerektiğini söylemektedir.

Historical accounts in the Quran express that throughout history, economic power by itself without any ethical and moral values’ help has never been enough for societies to endure their authorities and existences. Consequently, civilisations standing on their wealth alone were not able to continue their existence for a long period of time. Of course economic power is one of the foundational principles of a society to stand. The problem here is to leave economic prosperity alone to hold social development without any support and help. Economic power gives a big confidence and pride to its master who submits himself completely to its guidence. If a society considers wealth as the most important thing, it becomes insensitive to the corrosions of values in itself and starts believing that all the warnings of prophets are nonsense. Such an attitude quickens the process of collapsing, and losing power. History witnessed many societies collapsed due to this understandings, and willed such records to be read. The Qur’an supports to build a communal consciousness and raises economic power with moral and spiritual support.
