Kâlû belâ (a‘râf, 7/172) âyetinin farklı bir yorumu

A‘râf Sûresi 172. âyet hakkında şimdiye kadar müfessirler tarafından yapılan iki yorum vardır. Ne var ki yapılan bu yorumlar ikna edici görünmemektedir. Bir yoruma göre Cenâb-ı Hak, insanlar fiilen dünyaya gelmeden önce, Allah rûhlar âleminde insanları zerreler halinde yaratmış ve onlardan mîsâk veya ‘ahd (söz) almış, “Ben sizin Rabbiniz değil miyim” demiş, onlar da “Evet” diyerek tasdik etmişlerdir. İkinci yoruma göre ise bu mîsâk/’ahd (söz), insanlar bedenleriyle bu dünyaya gelmelerinden önce değil babalarının sulblerinde ve annelerinin rahminde alınmıştır. Bu makalede önce bu iki yorum ve dayandıkları deliller hakkında genel bilgi verilecek, daha sonra bu âyetin düşündüğümüz farklı yorumu verilerek hem daha önceki yorumların neden doğru olmadıkları gösterilecek hem de yaptığımız yeni yorumun tutarlılığı açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu mâkalede yegâne amacımız, söz konusu âyetten Allah’ın mesajının doğru anlaşılmasıdır.

Comments on the verse al-A’raf 172 by the commentators does not seem to be persuative. There are two interpretations of this verse. First interpretation is that God asked people whether He was their Lord (=alastu bi rabbikum?) before they being sent into the world. It is assumed that human beings were created in very small size, about the size of ants. According this interpretation when our Lord brought forth descendants from the loins of Adam’s children, and made them testify against themselves, (He said): Am I not your Lord? They replied: “We bear witness that you are”. (al-A’raf, 7/172) In that event people chose to take the responsibility of the trust on themselves, that is, the responsibility of being conscious beings with reason. The second interpretation is that there is no such event in the world of sprits, and Allah did not aforetime take a covenant from the children of Adam. On the contrary, this covenant came true in this world in the wombs of mothers. In this study we principally will give information on this two interpretations and theirs proofs, and we will examine these proffs. Then we will explain our opinion and our comments on this verse.
