Gazi üniversitesi gazi eğitim fakültesi güzel sanatlar eğitimi bölümü müzik eğitimi anabilim dalı öğrencilerinin umutsuzluk düzeylerinin belirlenmesi

Bu araştırma, Gazi Üniversitesi Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı öğrencilerinin umutsuzluk düzeylerini inceleyen betimsel bir çalışmadır. Çalışmanın evrenini Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı birinci, ikinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Evrenin tümü örneklem olarak alınmıştır. Öğrencilerin umutsuzluk düzeylerini saptamak amacıyla öğrencilere 20 sorudan oluşan Beck umutsuzluk ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Umutsuzluğun gelecekle ilgili duygular ve beklentiler, motivasyon kaybı ve umut alt boyutları ile ilgili yapılan istatistiklere göre öğrencilerin motivasyonunun yüksek, gelecekle ilgili duygu ve beklenti düzeylerinin düşük olduğu görülmüştür. Umutsuzluğun alt boyutları arasındaki t testi dağılımları incelendiğinde kız öğrencilerin gelecekle ilgili duygular ve beklentilerde, erkek öğrencilerin ise motivasyon kaybı ve umut alt boyutunda daha fazla bu duyguları yaşadıkları saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin cinsiyet, öğrenim gördükleri sınıf, mezun oldukları lise türü, ana çalgıları ve yaş değişkenine ile umutsuzluğun alt boyutları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır.

This study was carried out to determine the desperation levels of the students studying in the music education department of Gazi Education Faculty of Gazi University. The space of the study was consisted by the first, second, third and forth year students of the same department. All of the space was taken as the sample. The desperation levels of the students were determined by the use 20 question Beck desperation scale. According to the statistical data obtained for the expectations and feeling for the future , loss of motivation and hope sub dimensions of the desperation revealed that the students have high motivation but low expectations and feelings for the future. When these dimensions are examined with t test the girls have low expectations and feeling for the future while the boys suffer from loss of motivation and lower hope. There were no significant changes in the sub dimensions of the desperation and the gender, class, the high school, the main instrument and the age of the students.
