Felsefe ve edebiyat ilişkisi

Bu makalede, varlık, düşünce, dil, yazı, kültür ve uygarlık bağlantısı içerisinde, felsefe ile edebiyat ilişkisi söz konusu edilecektir. Bilindiği üzere, varlığa ilişkin düşüncenin gerçekleşmesini, töre ve göreneklerin ortaya çıkmasını mümkün kılan, simgeler sistemi dil, hem bir iletişim aracı, hem de bir anlam ve kültür taşıyıcısı olarak, felsefe ve edebiyat gibi iki farklı kültürel ürünün de yaratıcısıdır. Bu nedenle, burada, öncelikle, aynı dili kullanan, ama, iki farklı düşünce tarzının yansısı, dolayısıyla, iki farklı ifade biçiminin, yani felsefe ile edebiyatın ilişkisi sorgulanacaktır. Felsefenin mi edebiyata, yoksa edebiyatın mı felsefeye yön verdiği incelenecek; hangisinin hangisini etkilediği ya da hizmetinde olduğu belirtilecektir. Daha sonra, bireysel bir çabanın ürünü olan bir felsefî eserin edebî; ya da, yine, bireysel bir çabanın ürünü olan bir edebî eserin felsefî sayılabilmesi için gereken şeylerin neler olduğu sorgulanacak; bu bağlamda, edebiyat ile felsefenin bütünleşip kendine has bir yapı oluşturduğu felsefî romanın ne türden bir eser olduğu, ilk nasıl ve ne zaman ortaya çıktığı tartışılacaktır.

"In this article, the relationship between philosophy and literature from the points of view of existence, thought, speech, literary output, culture and civilization will be considered. It is a widely known fact that language is a system of communication through symbols which enables man to fulfil the idea of existence and which causes customs and traditions to emerge. It is, furthermore, language, both as a medium of communication and as a conveyor of meaning and culture, which generates two such dissimilar products of culture as philosophy and literature. The main task of this study, therefore, will be to examine the reflexions of two different modes of thought which employ the same language; to study two divergent tenets of expression, namely philosophy and literature. The focus, for this reason, will be on the examination of whether philosophy or literature is the conductor; which one of the either is the influencing force or which one is in the service of the other will be questioned.
