Dîvân edebiyâtında mahlasların karıştırılması -za’îfî ve za’fî mahlaslı şairler örneği-

Osmanlı şiir geleneğinde aynı mahlası kullanmış olan pek çok şairin mahlasları ve bunun sonucunda şiirleri karıştırılagelmiştir. Aynı olmasa bile yazılışları açısından birbirine benzeyen mahlasların karıştırılması da mahlas karışıklığının bir türünü teşkil etmektedir. Makalede bu hususa güzel bir örnek teşkil eden Za'îfî ve Za'fî mahlaslı şairler üzerinde durulmuştur. Osmanlı döneminde tespit edilebildiği kadarı ile Za'îfî mahlaslı 7 ve Za'fî mahlaslı 2 şair yaşamıştır. Bu iki mahlasın karıştırılmasının temel nedeni yanlış istinsahtır. Özellikle tezkirelerde görülen bu husus neticesinde her iki mahlasın ötekine dönüştüğü görülmektedir. Her iki mahlaslı şairlere topluca yer veren biyografik eserlerde de aynı şairden farklı mahlaslarla, ya da farklı şairlerden tek bir mahlasla sözedilmesi gibi kimi karışıklıklar meydana gelmiştir. Karışılığın bir diğer şekli de bir eserin yanlışlıkla başka birine nisbet edilmesi şeklinde ortaya çıkmıştır.

In the ottoman traditional poetry the pseudonyms of many poets who used the same pseudonym as well as their poems have been confused with one another. The confusing of the pseudonyms which are similar to one another in terms of the writing of them, even not the same, is a kind of this confusion. This article deals with the pseudonymous poets under Za'ifi and Za'fi which is a good example of the case. In ottoman period, seven pseudonymous poets under Za'ifi and two pseudonymous poets under Za'fi lived, as far as they can be established. The reason of confusing two pseudonyms with each other is the wrong copying (writing). Especially in the tazkirahs it is seen that both pseudonyms turn into each other. Some confusions have taken places, such as mentioning the same poet with under different pseudonyms or mentioning different poets with under the same pseudonym, in biographical works containing the both pseudonymous poets totally. Another form of the confusion appeared in the form that a work was shown as belonging to another poet by mistake.
