Dönemin ders kitaplarında 27 mayıs 1960 ihtilali ve etkileri

Bu makalede öncelikle ders kitaplarının eğitimin en önemli aracı olduğu belirtilmekle birlikte bunların siyasî iktidarların görüş ve düşüncelerini kitlelere ulaştırmak bakımından önemli görüldüğü vurgulanmıştır. 27 Mayıs 1960 İhtilali’ni gerçekleştirenler de bu hareketin meşru ve haklı olduğunu kitlelere özellikle de öğrencilere anlatma gayreti içinde olmuşlardır. Bu bakımdan dönemin ders kitapları ve müfredat programları gözden geçirilmiş ve ihtilalin haklı sebeplere dayandığı ders kitaplarında işlenmiştir. İhtilali gerçekleştirenler yaptıkları hareketin doğruluğu, haklılığı ve meşruiyetini anlatmanın bir yolu olarak ders kitaplarını seçmişlerdir.

In this article, as well as primarily stated that school books are the most important mediums of education, it is emphasized that they are also the most indispensable means to convey the political opinions and points of view of the governments. With regard to this, the actors of the revolution of 27 May 1960 were also in attempt to convince the people, especially students, that the revolution was legitimate and they were right to do so. As a consequence, school books and cirriculums of the era were reviewed and rearranged, and in these books it is mentioned that the revolution was based on reasonable grounds. The actors of the revolution chose school books as a way to indicate the rightness and legitimacy of their act.
