Kurumsal etik ve türkiye posta işletmeleri kurumsal örneği

Bu çalışma PTT “Türkiye Posta İşletmelerinin” kendi kurumsal politika, amaç ve etik değerlerine yönelik oluşturduğu “Kurumsal Etik Politikası” çalışmasından esinlenerek ve kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Etik norm ve değerler günümüz ve geçmiş toplumlarda oldukça önem arz etmektedir. Bu nedenle etik norm ve değerlere sahip olmayan kurum veya toplumun yapısından bahsetmek imkânsızdır. Kurumlar ancak etik norm ve değerler ile toplum içerisinde kendine bir yer edinebilir. Kültür, ahlak ve etik kavramlarının birbirine paralel işlediği görülmektedir. Etik değerleri oluşturan öğelerin aslında ahlaki kurallar ve değerler ile şekillendiği belirtilmiştir. Kültürel değerler ahlaki değerleri, ahlaki değerler ise etik kavram ve değerleri oluşturur. Bu nedenle toplumları şekillendiren kültürel yapı üzerinde ahlaki norm ve değerler etkilidir. Yine ahlaki norm ve değerler, kurumların şekillenmesi ile kurumsal etik değerler üzerinde de etkilidir. Bu çalışmada kurumsal etik ve ahlak değerleri üzerinde durulmuş, literatür taraması gerçekleştirilerek sonuca gidilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda etik değerlerin önemi ve kurumsal açıdan vazgeçilmez olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study has been inspired from the “Institutional Ethics Policy,” structured by PTT, the General Directorate of Turkish Post and Telegraph Organization, related to its own institutional policy, objective and ethics. Ethical principles and values are of utmost importance not only today but also in previous cultures. Therefore, institutions and social structures can never exist without ethical norms and values. Only by means of ethical norms and values can the institutions exist. It has been observed that culture, morality and ethics are all interrelated concepts. It has also been detected that the elements which constitute ethical values are shaped by moral values. Whilst cultural values form moral principles, moral principles form ethical concepts and values. Thus, moral norms and values have a profound effect on the cultural structure that creates societies. Futher to this, moral norms and values affect the structure of institutions and institutional ethical values. In the study, emphasis has been on the institutional ethics and the relevant literature review. At the end of the study, it has been stated that the significance of ethical values is indisputable in institutions.
