Semantik web (web 3.0) ve eğitim amaçlı kullanımı

İnternetin gelişimi web‟i karşımıza farklı sürümlerle çıkarmaktadır. 2004 yılında sosyal web kategorisindeki web 2.0 gündeme gelmiş, semantik web adı ile karşımıza çıkan yapay zeka temelli web 3.0 henüz gelişimini tamamlamasa da web‟in geleceği açısından insanları heyecanlandırmaktadır. İnternette verilerin hızlı artışı ve anlamlı hale getirilme ihtiyacı aslında semantik web oluşumunun nedenlerinden biridir. Bu makalede web‟in gelişimine kısaca değinilip, semantik web teknolojileri hakkında bilgi verilmektedir. Ayrıca web 3.0‟ın eğitime neler getireceği tartışılmaktadır.

The development of the internet has presented the web to us in many different ways. In 2004 web 2.0 came to be and was categorised as the social web and named semantic web, a form of artificial intelligence based on web 3.0, which although incomplete stirred much excitement around the future of the web. The rapid growth in online data and the necessity to process it into useful information has been the catalyst behind the swift development of the semantic web. This article will touch upon the development of the web and discuss the technologies behind semantic web processes. In addition, the contribution of web 3.0 to education will also be evaluated.
