Fen öğretiminde bilgisayar destekli öğretimin önemi

Bu çalışmada, fen öğretiminde bilgisayar destekli öğretimin önemi değişik araştırmalardan yararlanılarak incelenmiştir. Eğitim sisteminin temel amaçlarından biri öğrencilere bilgiye ulaşma becerileri kazandırmaktır. Bu yüzden etkili bir fen öğretiminin önemi büyüktür. Fen öğretimi öğrenciye; bilimsel bilgileri bilme ve anlama, araştırma ve keşfetme, hayal etme ve yaratma, merak ve heyecan, edinilen bilgi ve becerileri günlük hayattaki sorunları çözmede kullanabilme yeteneği kazandırır. Bu nedenle bu davranışları kazandırmak için uygulanan öğretim yöntemlerinin belirlenmesi son derece önemlidir. Bu amaçla bilgisayar destekli öğretimi de içeren birçok öğretim yöntem ve tekniği geliştirilmiştir. Bilgisayar destekli öğretim, öğrencilerin fen eğitimindeki analitik düşünme ve muhakeme yeteneğini geliştirir. Sonuç olarak, kalıcı bir fen öğretimi gerçekleştirmek için bilgisayarın etkili bir şekilde kullanılması gerektiği anlaşılmıştır.

In this study, the importance of computer-assisted instruction in science education was investigated by utilizing several methods. One of the main goals of the education system is to allow the students to gain the skill of accessibility to information. So an efficient science teaching has a great significance. Science education causes the students to gain some skills such as understanding and cognizing the scientific knowledge, research and invention, creative thought, curiosity and enthusiasm, and ability to use the obtained knowledge and skills for solving the problems in everyday life. Therefore, the determination of applied teaching methods which allow the students to gain mentioned behaviors is extremely important. For this purpose, a lot of teaching methods and techniques including computer-assisted instruction were developed. The computer-assisted instruction improves the analytical thinking and reasoning skills of the students in science education. We conclude that computer-assisted instruction should be used effectively in order to realize an efficient and consistent science teaching.
