Bilişim teknolojileri formatör öğretmenlerinin bakış açısı ile okullardaki bilgi teknolojisi sınıfları

Bu çalışmada amaç, Bilişim Teknolojileri Formatör Öğretmenlerinin (BİTEFO) çalıştıkları okullarda kullandıkları Bilgi Teknolojileri Sınıflarına(BTS) ilişkin değerlendirmelerini almak ve sınıfların genel durumunu ortaya koymaktır. Tarama modelinin kullanıldığı çalışmada BİTEFO’lardan alınan cevaplar, nitel veri analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma verilerinden BİTEFO’ların sınıflarını; kullanmakta oldukları bilgisayarların donanımsal özellikleri, performansları ve sayıları açısından değerlendirdiklerinde yeterli görmedikleri belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenler, okullarındaki internet bağlantısının yetersiz olduğunu; dolayısıyla MEB tarafından kullanılması istenilen eğitim portallarının da kullanılamadığını belirtmişlerdir. Sonuçlar doğrultusunda; bilgisayarlara gerekli donanımsal destek sağlanmalı, bilgisayar sayıları öğrenci sayısını karşılayacak şekilde artırılmalı ve internet bağlantı hızı gerekli uygulamaların yürütülmesine imkân verecek düzeye getirilmelidir

The aim of the study is to learn about the evaluation of the formator teachers related to the information technology classes(ITC) they use in their schools and to reveal the general situation of these classes. The survey method was used in the study and the answers by the formator teachers were subjected to qualitative data analysis. According to the results of the study, it is founded that the ITC were evaluated as insufficient in terms of hardware qualifications of computers, performances, and numbers by formator teachers. Besides, the teachers found internet connection in the schools deficient, they also stated that why they could not use educational portals required by the MoNE. In the direction of these results, the required hardware support should be provided for the computers, the numbers of computers should be increased in proportion of the numbers of students, and the internet connection speed should be maximized to perform the required applications.
