Ilköğretim 7. sınıf matematik ders kitabının öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşleri doğrultusunda değerlendirilmesi; bitlis ili örneği

Bu araştırmada, ilköğretim 7.sınıf matematik ders kitabının öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşleri doğrultusunda incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç ile ders kitaplarının hazırlanması için belirlenen niteliklerden, içerik, öğrenme, öğretme ve ölçme-değerlendirme ölçütleri esas alınarak araştırmacı tarafından öğretmen ve öğrenci anket formları hazırlanmıştır. Öğretmen ve öğrencilerin matematik ders kitabını daha iyi değerlendirmeleri için hazırlanan anket formları 2010-2011 eğitim-öğretim yılının sonuna doğru Bitlis ili Tatvan ve Ahlat ilçelerinde görev yapan toplam 48 matematik öğretmeni ve 131 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğretmen ve öğrencilerin ders kitabını genel olarak belirlenen niteliklere sahip olduğunu, ancak bazı konularda yetersiz veya kısmen yetersiz buldukları görülmüştür. Öğretmenler, kitaptaki konu ve ünitelerin sınıf seviyesine uygun olarak hazırlandığı, ünite, bölüm ve konulara arasında hacim bakımından makul ve öğretim programına uygun bir denge kurulduğu ve konuların öğrenmeyi kolaylaştıracak şekilde yardımcı unsurlarla desteklenerek anlaşılır hale getirildiği konularında olumsuz görüş bildirdikleri; öğrenciler ise, konuların öğrencileri araştırma ve incelemeye teşvik edecek şekilde işlendiği konusunda olumsuz görüş bildirdikleri tespit edilmiştir.

In this research, it is aimed to investigate the mathematic textbook of elementary 7th-grade in the view of students and teachers' opinions. With this aim, the teacher and student questionnaire forms have been prepared for the preparation of textbooks on the basis of some criteria such as content, learning, teaching and assessment-evaluation, which are predetermined qualities. Towards to the end of 2010-2011 school years, these prepared questionnaire forms hoped to evaluate better by teachers and students have been applied to the total of 48 mathematic teachers and 131 students working in Tatvan and Ahlat districts of Bitlis city. According to research finding, it has been seen that teachers and student found out that the textbook is qualify in general but it is inadequate or in part. It was detected that teachers found out some negativeness on the appropriateness of prepared subject and units in textbook with the level of class, the setting up a balance which is suitable to the curriculum and reasonable in term of capacity among the unit, division and subjects and the learning by supporting with the subsidiary elements is brought up to understand; also students have been provided the negative feedback the subjects encourage the students to evaluation and research.
