Atatürk üniversitesi öğrencilerinin gelir-harcama ilişkisi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Atatürk Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin gelir-harcama ilişkisini, toplam harcamanın harcama grupları itibariyle dağılımını ve üniversite öğrencilerinin il ekonomisine katkısını araştırmaktır. Bu amacı gerçekleştirebilmek için 900 öğrenciye anket uygulanmıştır. Harcama gruplarının gelir esneklikleri engel fonksiyonları yardımıyla bulunmuştur. Gıda, giyim-ayakkabı ve barınma harcamaları öğrenciler için zorunlu harcamalar; ulaşım, haberleşme, kişisel bakım, eğitim-öğretim, eğlence, sosyo-kültürel, alkollü içecekler, sigara ve tütün mamulleri ve diğer harcamalar ise zorunlu harcamalar olmakla birlikte esneklikleri birim esnekliğe çok yakındır. Bununla birlikte, şans oyunları harcaması ise öğrenciler için lüks mal olarak belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this paper is to investigate income-expenditure of the students relationship of Atatürk University, the distribution of total expenditure with respect to expenditure groups, and the contribution of students on urban economy. Firstly, to quantify this purpose a questionnaire was applied at sample to 900 students. Income elasticity of expenditure for this group was found with the help of Engel function. Food, clothing and footwear, sheltering expenditures required for students are estimated as compulsory expenditure. Although Transportation, communication, personal care, education, entertainment, culture, alcoholic beverages, cigarette and tobacco and other commodities expenditures are compulsory expenditure, is determined elasticity of this expentitures is very close to unit elasticity. However, game of chances expenditures is determined as luxury good.
