Birleştirilmiş sınıflı okullarda uygulanan fen ve teknoloji dersine (yeni fen programına)yönelik öğrencilerin ve öğretmenlerin görüşleri

Bu çalışma, birleştirilmiş sınıflı köy ilköğretim okullarında öğrenim gören 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin ve bu sınıfları okutan öğretmenlerin Fen ve Teknoloji Dersine (yeni fen programı) yönelik görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada veriler nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel çözümleme tekniği kullanılmış ve elde edilen veriler sayısallaştırılarak yorumlanmıştır. Öğrenci ve öğretmenlere açık uçlu sorular sorulmuş alınan cevaplar gruplandırılarak frekans ve yüzdeleri belirtilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu birleştirilmiş sınıflı okullar da öğrenim gören 26 adet 4.ve 5. sınıf öğrencisi ve birleştirilmiş sınıflarda 4. ve 5. sınıf okutan 4 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerden 16‟sı 4.sınıf, 10‟u 5.sınıfta öğrenim görmektedir. Öğretmenlerden 2 si tek sınıflı birleştirilmiş sınıflarda ve erkek, 2‟si 2 sınıflı birleştirilmiş sınıflarda ve bayandır. Öğretmenlerin tamamı eski fen programını da uygulamış deneyimli öğretmenlerdir.

This study was carried on to get the opinions of teachers and their 4th and 5th grade students about science and technology course (new science program), that are studying in joined classes of primary schools in the villages. The data of this study was collected by semi-structured interview which is partially configured from qualitative research methods. Descriptive methods were used to analyze the data which were interpreted by quantification. Subjective questions were asked to students and teachers and the answers were analyzed by grouping statistically using frequency and percentage . The study group was composed of 26 unified 4th and 5th grade primary school students and their 4 teachers. 16 out of 26 students are 4th year students and the remaining 10 students are 5th year students. 2 out of 4 teachers are men and teach in unified classes with one class and the remaining 2 teachers are women and they teach in unified classes with two classes. All teachers had read the old Science course program.
