Son yıllarda personel kavramından insan kaynakları kavramına doğru bir değişim gözlenmektedir. Klasik personel kavramı zaman içinde rekabet koşullarında farklılaşarak günümüz insan kaynakları anlayışına dönüşmüştür. İnsan kaynakları kavramı içine, çalışanların seçilmesi, geliştirilmesi, güdülenmesi, ödüllendirilmesi ve birlikte güçlendirilmesi kavramları girmektedir. Yapılan çalışmada Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Hastanesi’ndeki personelin personel güçlendirmeye ilişkin düşünce ve tutumları ortaya konularak kurumda personel güçlendirmenin ne derecede uygulanabildiği ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sağlık personelinin personel güçlendirmeye gerekli yaklaşımı sergileyerek insan kaynaklarının geliştirilmesine olumlu katkılar sağlandığını ortaya koymuşturRecently it is observing that personnel concept is changing towards to human resources concept. In this research, thinking and attitude of staff about personnel empowerment in Afyon Kocatepe University Hospital were examined, and it was tried to determine at which level personnel supporting concept could be applied in this organization. Results of the performed analysises showed that health staff supported in this sense and they had pozitive effects on personnel empowerment.
