“peygamberimizin vecizeleri” adlı eseri çerçevesinde ahmet hamdi akseki’nin hadisleri tercüme ve şerh metodu

Hz. Peygamber döneminden günümüze kadar, dinin ikinci temel kaynağı konumunda olan hadis/sünnet üzerindeki anlama çabaları devam edegelmiştir. Tercüme ve şerh çalışmalarının bu anlama çabaları arasında önemli bir yeri vardır. Bir hadisi diğer bir dile tercüme etmek, Hz. Peygamber’in muradını o dili konuşanlara aktarmak anlamı taşıdığından önemli bir anlama faaliyetidir. Hadisteki her unsuru açıklamayı hedef alan şerh faaliyeti ise hadisten maksadın ne olduğunu açık bir şekilde ortaya koyması bakımından önemli olduğu kadar sorumluluk isteyen bir faaliyettir. İşte bu önemli görev ve sorumluluğu üstlenen âlimlerden biri de Osmanlı İmparatorluğundan Türkiye Cumhuriyetine geçiş dönemi âlimlerinden biri olan Merhum Ahmet Hamdi Akseki’dir. O “ Peygamberimizin Vecizeleri ” adlı eserinde hadisleri tercüme ve şerh etmeye çalışmıştır. Akseki, söz konusu eserinde, hadislerin tercümesi konusunda hassas davranmış, asıl metne uygunluk, gerektiğinde parantez arası açıklama yapma ve anlaşılır bir dil kullanma gibi tercüme teknikleri açılarından maharetini ortaya koymuştur. Bunun yanında Akseki’nin hadisleri dirâyetli bir şekilde şerh ettiğini görüyoruz. O, hadisleri ayet ve hadislerle şerh etmiş bunun yanında İslam âlimlerinin görüşlerini vermeyi de ihmal etmemiştir. Ayrıca şerh geleneğinde olduğu gibi hadislerde geçen manası kapalı kelimeleri açıklamış, hadiste ve şerhinde geçen kavramlar hakkında bilgiler vermiştir. Bu arada şerh esnasında sosyolojik, psikolojik tahliller yapmıştır. Aynı zamanda Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı da yapmış olan Ahmet Hamdi Akseki, ilmî birikimini yansıtarak hadisleri tercüme ve şerh etmeye çalışmış, hadislerin doğru bir şekilde anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamıştır.

Since the Prophet’s period to the present, the efforts to understand the hadith/sunnah which is the second fundamental source of the religion have persisted. The studies of translation and interpretation have an important place among these understanding efforts. Translating a hadith to another language is an important activity for understanding as it means of conveying the intention of the Prophet to the people who speak that language. Interpretation activity which aims to explain every element in the hadith is also important in terms of putting forward the purpose of the hadith and it requires responsibility as well as it is important. So, one of the scholars who took this important duty and responsibility is the deceased Ahmed Hamdi Akseki who was one of the scholars of the transition period from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic of Turkey. In his book that is named “Peygamberimizin Vecizeleri”, he has tried to translate and interpret the hadiths. In this aforementioned work, A. Hamdi Akseki has been very sensitive in the translation of the hadiths and has showed his skills in terms of the translating techniques such as conformity with the original text, making an explanation in brackets when needed and using a clear language. Besides this, we see that he interpreted the hadiths in a skilled way. He has interpreted the hadiths with verses from Qur’an and hadiths and also has not neglected to give the opinions of the Islamic scholars. Additionally, he has explained the words with inexplicit meanings as in the tradition of interpretation and has given informations about the concepts that are in the hadiths and during its interpretation. Meanwhile, he has made sociological and physiological analysis during the interpretation. Ahmet Hamdi Akseki who also served as a president of religious affairs at the same time, tried to translate and interpret the hadiths by reflecting his knowledge and contributed to the understanding of hadiths in a right way.
