Bu çalışmada ilköğretim 6. sınıf matematik dersi, kesirler konusunda uygulanan oyun destekli öğretimin, öğrencilerin tutumları üzerindeki etkisini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada deney-kontrol gruplu deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini Ankara ilinde bir ilköğretim okulunun 6. sınıfında öğrenim görmekte olan 30 deney, 30 kontrol olmak üzere toplam 60 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak Aşkar (1976) tarafından geliştirilen tutum ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Uygulamalar başlamadan önce öğrencilerin önsel tutumlarını belirleyebilmek amacıyla tutum ölçeği hem deney hem kontrol grubu öğrencilerine uygulanmıştır. Deney grubunda dersler oyun destekli, kontrol grubunda ise geleneksel öğretim yöntemleriyle işlenmiştir. Uygulamalar 3 hafta süreyle haftada 4 saat olmak üzere 12 saat sürmüştür. Uygulamalar sonrasında ve uygulamalar bittikten 3 hafta sonra tutumlardaki kalıcılığı belirleyebilmek için tutum ölçeği her iki gruba da tekrar uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizi sırasında örtük büyüme modeli kullanılmış ve çalışma sonucunda hem deney hem kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerin tutumlarında gelişim olduğu görülmüştür. Fakat oyun destekli öğretim yapılan deney grubundaki öğrencilerin tutumlarındaki gelişimin kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
This research was done to examine the influence on the attitudes of students of game supported learning aproach of fractions unit in the 6th grade of primary school. This study was done in the Primary School in Sincan-Ankara with 60 students. In this research experimental research model with controlling group which is based on 3 times repeated calculation consisting of, pretest, posttest and permanency test was used. One of the 6th grades in the primary school was determined as experiment group (30 students), the other was determined as controlling group (30 students). In the experiment group the lessons were conducted with game-supported learning approach, while in controlling group the traditional education way was used. In the research attitude scale for mathematics lesson was used to collect data. The scale developed by Aşkar (1976) was readily used. Applications for 3 weeks took 12 hours to 4 hours per week. This scale means were used three times, before the experimental process, at the end of the process and 3 weeks after the end.. As a result of the research, it was seen that development of students' attitude in the experimental group were higher than in the control group.
