Ilköğretim yedinci sınıf vatandaşlık ve insan hakları eğitimi programının değerlendirilmesi

Problem Durumu: Egitim bir sistemdir ve her sistemde oldugu gibi egitimde de kontrol gereklidir. Hazırlanmıs ve uygulamaya konmus her programın degerlendirilmeye ihtiyacı vardır. Degerlendirme programın islerligi hakkında ilgi verecek ve bu dogrultuda gerekli düzenlemeler yapılabilecektir. Ancak bu sekilde istenen niteliklere sahip bireylerin yetismesi söz konusu olabilecektir. Arastırmanın Amacı/Arastırma Soruları: Bu çalısmanın amacı, İlkögretim 7. Sınıf Vatandaslık ve İnsan Hakları Egitimi dersi programında yer alan hedef-davranısların ulasılma düzeyi, davranısların örüntüsü, programın duyussal özelliklere etkisini belirlemektir. Arastırma Yöntemi: Arastırmada; mevcut durum oldugu gibi ortaya konulmaya çalısılmıstır. Bu nedenle, betimsel nitelikli tarama modeli arastırmanın yöntemi olarak benimsenmistir. Bulgular ve Sonuçlar: Vatandaslık ve İnsan Hakları Egitimi Programı uygulamalarına katılmadan önce ögrencilerinin belirli bir önbilgi ile derse baslamakla birlikte gerçeklestirilen ögrenme ögretme etkinliklerinin ögrencilerin basarıları üzerinde anlamlı bir fark yarattıgını söylemek mümkündür. Bunun yanı sıra ünitelerdeki davranısların ulasılma düzeyinin oldukça düsük oldugu bu nedenle ögrencilerin davranısların çoguna ulasamadıkları belirlenmistir. Aynı zamanda ünitelerde yer alan davranıslar arasında önkosul iliskilerde sorunlar ortaya çıkmıstır. Öneriler: Vatandaslık ve İnsan Hakları Egitimi programı yeniden ele alınarak degerlendirilmelidir. Davranısların ulasılma düzeyi yükseltilmeli ve önkosul iliskilere göre davranıslar yeniden düzenlenmelidir.

The Problem: Education is a system. Similar with any other systems, control is necessary in education. Each curriculum prepared and applied needs evaluate. Evaluation provides feedback on effectiveness of the curricula thus provides insight on the changes and improvements needed. Such efforts and work allows educational systems to strive toward excellence. Purpose of the Study/Research Questions: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the achievement degree of goals placed in Primary School Seventh Grade The Citizenship and Human Rights Curricula, behavior patterns and emotional implications of curriculum. Method: In this study, current conditions are tried to introduce literally. For this reason, descriptive search model is chosen as the method of the research. Results: Although students begin their experience in the Citizenship and Human Rights Course curriculum with prior knowledge, the instructional work for the curriculum does have significant contribution on their achievement. On the other hand, there was low degree of attainment of goals identified for each chapter. In other words, students did not attain majority of behaviors outlined for the respective chapters. Furthermore, there appears to be issues in the order in which objectives of chapters are identified. Finally, the curriculum did not have significant positive impact on students’ affective domain.Implications: The Citizenship and Human Rights Course curriculum is in considerable need for revision so as to increase the degree of attainment of desired outcome behaviors. Prerequisite experiences should be taken into consideration while identifying outcome behaviors for the course. Also, the content and activities for the course should be arranged in ways that can promote higher levels of motivation for learning.
