Ilköğretim 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin “bilişim teknolojileri okuryazarlık” düzeyleri (malatya örneği)

Bu arastırmanın amacı ilkögretim 8. sınıf ögrencilerinin bilisim teknolojilerine yönelik okuryazarlık düzeylerini tespit etmek ve ögrencilerin bilisim teknolojileri okuryazarlık düzeylerinin çesitli degiskenlerle iliskisini incelemektir. Çalısmada arastırmacı tarafından gelistirilen 40 maddelik "Bilisim Teknolojileri Okuryazarlıgına Yönelik Basarı Testi" kullanılmıstır. Arastırmanın örneklemini, Malatya ili Merkez ilçe sınırları içinde yer alan 2011–2012 egitim-ögretim yılı ikinci döneminde ögrenim gören 966 ögrenci olusturmaktadır. Arastırma 504 kız ögrenci ve 462 erkek ögrenci ile yürütülmüstür. Arastırmanın sonunda, ögrencilerin bilisim teknolojileri okuryazarlıklarının orta düzeyde oldugu söylenilebilir. Arastırmanın ikinci alt probleminde ilkögretim 8. sınıf ögrencilerin bilisim teknolojileri okuryazarlık düzeyleri cinsiyet, yas, anne-baba egitim düzeyi, aile gelir düzeyi, masaüstü/dizüstü bilgisayara sahip olma durumu, evde internet baglantısına sahip olma durumu, masaüstü/dizüstü bilgisayar ve internet kullanmayı öncelikli ögrendikleri yerlere göre, bilgisayar ve internet kullanma sıklıklarına, masaüstü/dizüstü bilgisayarı öncelikli kullanım amacına, evde baska bilgisayar/internet kullanan kisilerin olup olmadıgına, cep telefonuna sahip olma durumuna, cep telefonundan internete girme sıklıkları gibi degiskenler açısından incelenmistir. Cinsiyet, yas ve cep telefonundan internete girme sıklıgına göre ögrencilerin okuryazarlıkları arasında manidar bir fark görülmemistir. Bunların dısındaki degiskenlere göre ögrencilerin okuryazarlıkları arasında manidar bir fark görülmüstür. Arastırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara dayalı olarak çesitli önerilerde bulunulmustur.

The purpose of this research is to determine the literacy level of primary school 8 th grade students towards information technologies and examine the information technologies literacy level of the students in terms of several variables. In this study were used, the achievement test towards information technology literacy, consists of 40 items, the writer had developed was used for determining the information technologies literacy level of the students. The sample of this research constitutes 966 students studying in the second term of 2011-2012 educational years in the central district border of Malatya province. The research was conducted with 504 female and 462 male students. In the light of these findings, it can be stated at the end of the research that the information technologies literacy level of the students is intermediate. In the second lower problem of the research, information technologies literacy level of the 8th grade primary students were examined by means of variables such as gender, age, educational level of parents, income level of the family, having a desktop/laptop computer, having internet connectivity at home, desktop / laptop computers and the Internet by using the priority places to learn, the frequency of their using the computer and internet, desktop / laptop computer, the priority purpose of use, whether there was someone else at home to use the computer/internet, having a cell phone, the frequency of their internet access via cell phone. The 8th grade students' information technologies literacy levels are moderate. There aren't any significant differences observed based on gender, age or using internet via cell phone. There are significant differences observed among students' literacy outside of these variables. Various advices are made depending on the outcomes of the research.
