Balkanların en genç ve yeni devleti olan Kosova, Soğuk Savaş sonrası uluslararası sistemde yaşanan büyük değişimin bir parçası olarak ortaya çıkmış bir devlettir. Bu devletin kurulduğu 17 Şubat 2008 sonrası, genel olarak diğer bütün eski Doğu Bloğu ülkeleri ve Yugoslavya'dan ortaya çıkan devletler gibi dış politikasının en önemli amacı, Avrupa kurumları ile entegrasyon sürecini başarı ile tamamlamaktır. Ancak bir yandan komşusu Sırbistan ile yaşadığı sorunlar ve diğer yandan ülke içinde azınlıklar, ekonomi, güvenlik, kamu yönetimi ve yargı gibi alanlarda yaşanan sıkıntılar, ülkenin AB ile entegrasyon sürecini akamete uğratmaktadır. Çalışmada, Kosova'nın AB ile olan entegrasyon süreci, bu süreçte geçirilen aşamalar ve gelinen nokta, ülkenin ikinci büyük azınlığı olan Kosova Türklerinin bu sürece olan tavrı ile beraber ele alınarak, analiz edilecektir.
As the youngest and newest state in the Balkans, Kosovo is a state that appeared as part of the large transformation that took place in the international political system after the Cold War. Subsequent to the creation of this state on 17 February 2008, in general its most important foreign policy objective, as with all of the other states emerging from former East Block countries and Yugoslavia, is to successfully complete the integration process with European institutions. However, existing problems with Yugoslavia on the one hand, and difficulties experienced in the areas of minorities in the country, the economy, security, public administration and judiciary on the other hand, are leading the country to failure in this integration process with the EU. In the study, the process of integration with the EU in Kosovo, and in the process passed the point reached in stages, which is the country's second largest minority in Kosovo Turks with this process by taking the attitude, will be analyzed.
