Toplumsal sistem analizinde toplumsal statü ve rol

Toplumu bir sistem olarak ele alıp açıklamaya çalışmak, toplumsal örgütlenmeyi, işleyişi ve değişimi bilimsel bir sistem teorisi içinde açıklamanın mümkün olduğunu kabul etmektir. Her toplum oldukça kompleks olan ve çok sayıda bileşeni bulunan bir sistemdir. Sistem, içinde yer alan yapı unsurlarının her birinin diğerleriyle bağıntılı olduğu bir bütünlüğü ve organize olmuşluğu ifade eder. Gerek sistemi oluşturan yapı unsurlarının oluşması, gerekse bunlar arasında organize bir bütünlüğün gerçekleşmesi, unsurlardan her birinin kendi işlevini yerine getirmesine bağlıdır. Toplumsal sistemi oluşturan unsurların her biri, sistemin oluşması ve varlığını sürdürmesi ile ilgili özel işlevleri yerine getirmesi ölçüsünde vazgeçilmez bir önem taşımaktadır. Dinamik bir dengesi olan sistem, sürekli hareket halinde olan, değişen ama buna rağmen dengesini koruyabilen bir özelliğe sahiptir. Temel başlangıç noktası eylem olan toplumsal sistem analizinde, en alt birim olma özelliği gösteren birey, başkalarıyla etkileşimi çerçevesinde ele alınır. Bu etkileşim, bireyin sahip olduğu toplumsal statüye bağlı olarak rol beklentisine göre hareket etmesine bağlıdır. Bundan dolayı toplumsal sistem analizinde, öncelikli olarak toplumsal statü ve rol kavramını ele almak daha yerinde olacaktır.

Considering and trying to examine society as a system means accepting the fact that social organization, social functioning and change could be explained through a scientific theory of system. Each society is a complex system with a number of components. A system refers to a unity in which each of the structural elements within it is connected with each other and to organization. Both the formation of structural elements that constitute the system and the realization of an organized unity depend on the proper functioning of each of these elements. Each one of the elements of social system is indispensable to the extent that they carry out their specific functions in the formation and existence of the system. A system with a dynamic balance is mobile and has a changing characteristic; however, it manages to maintain this balance despite change. In social system analysis, in which basic starting point is action, the individual, who is the smallest unit, is evaluated in terms of his interaction with others. This interaction depends on the individual's act in accordance with his expected role. Therefore, it will be useful to discuss the concepts of social status and role first in social system analysis.
