Eğitimin niteliğinin değerlendirilmesi konusunda öğrenci görüşlerinin dikkate alınması çok kullanılan yöntemlerden biridir. Ancak öğrenci görüşlerine göre öğretim üyelerinin ve eğitimin niteliğinin belirlenmesi konusunda çeşitli tartışmalar bulunmaktadır. Bu tartışmalarda öne çıkan nokta öğrencilerin değerlendirmelerinin çok geçerli olmadığı özellikle öğrencilerin beklenti ve ön yargılarının değerlendirme sürecini etkileyeceği ayrıca bu öğrencilerin değerlendirme yapabilmek için yeterli özelliklere sahip olup olmadıkları konusunda yoğunlaşmaktadır. Bu çalışma ise; öğrenci görüşlerinin aksine öğretim elemanlarının ders verdikleri öğrencilerin özellikleri konusundaki görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen anket formu kullanılmıştır. Anket formunda öğrencilerin araştırma-inceleme, iletişim, derslere hazırlıklı gelme, motivasyon, proje hazırlama ve bilişsel becerileri ile ilgili maddeler bulunmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular incelendiğinde cinsiyet değişkenine göre öğretim elemanlarının görüşlerinin farklılık göstermediği, unvan değişkenine göre ise öğrencilerin araştırma-inceleme, derslere hazırlıklı gelme ve motivasyonla ilgili özellikleri konusunda öğretim elemanlarının görüşlerinin farklılık gösterdiği görülmektedir. Ölçme aracındaki maddeler tek tek incelendiğinde ise öğretim elemanlarının görüşlerine ilişkin puanların ortalamasının 3,08 olduğu görülmektedir.

In terms of the evaluation of the education quality considering the opinions of the students is one of the most common methods. However there are more discussions on defining the quality of the education and academicians according to the opinions of the students. These discussions generally focus on the fact that the assessments made by the students could not be eligible, particularly the prejudgement and expectations of the students could affect the assessment period, and moreover in order to be able to evaluate, the students could have got enough skills or not. This study aims to define the opinion of the academicians on the skills of the students whom they instruct. A questionnaire form improved by the researchers is implemented in this study. In the questionnaire form there are some points such as state of being prepared in the class, motivation, preparing project and knowledge talent of the students. When the results of the study are scrutinized it is obvious that there are no differences in the opinions of the academicians according to their sex situation, however in terms of the titles of the academicians there are some differences in the opinions of the academicians on the skills of the students related to the research and scrutiny, being prepared in the class and motivation of the students. When the subjects in the measurement section are examined it is seen that the average point on the opinions of the academicians is 3,08.
