Üretim planlama süreci, üretim öncesindeki faaliyetlerden yani hangi mallardan ne kadar üretileceğini, işletmenin kapasite ihtiyacının ne olacağını, üretim yapılabilmesi için gerekli makinelerin ve işgücü niteliğinin belirlenmesi, işlere ve makinelere uygun kişilerin getirilerek; en uygun iş yüklemenin yapılması, talep edilen miktar ve mevcut kapasite ile gerekli üretim plan ve programının oluşturulması faaliyetlerinden ve tüm bu işler için gerekli maddi kaynak ihtiyacının saptanması gibi faaliyetlerden oluşur. Çalışmanın teorik bölümünde üretim planlama ve üretim planlamanın bir alt başlığı olarak iş yükleme kavramından bahsedilmiştir. Çalışmanın uygulama bölümünde ise teorik kısımdan hareketle Erzurum da faaliyet gösteren Ergaz Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş de bir uygulama çalışması yapılmıştır. Burada işletmedeki mevcut işler ve mevcut personelin nitelikleri tespit edilip, mevcut işlere en uygun atamanın nasıl olması gerektiğine yönelik bir uygulama yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, işletmedeki mevcut durum ile karşılaştırılmıştır.

The production planning process consist of activities before production, namely such as; determining the amount of production of any good, the capacity requirement of the business, the need machines and qualifications of work force; making the best job assignment by assigning suitable people the jobs and machines; the preparing needed plan and program with the demanded amount and current capacity and determining the physical resource need required for all these works. In the theoretical part of the study, the concept of production planning, and mainly, job assignment were discussed. In the application part of the study, in the direction of he theoretical part, an application study was conducted in Ergaz Industry and Trade ınc which operates in Erzurum. By examining the current jobs and the qualifications of current personel in this business, an application was conducted towards how the best assignment for he current jobs must be made. The findings were compared with the current situation in the business
