Sinif öğretmeni adaylarinin öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin motivasyon düzeyleri

Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenlik

mesleğine yönelik motivasyon düzeyine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek ve bu

görüşlerin cinsiyet, sınıf, öğrenim türü ve mezun olduğu lise değişkenlerine göre

farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın evrenini Pamukkale

Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören sınıf öğretmeni

adayları oluşturmaktadır. Evrenin tamamına ulaşmak mümkün olmadığından sınıf

öğretmeni adayları oranlı küme örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiştir. Örnekleme

409 sınıf öğretmeni adayı alınmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde “SPSS For

Windows (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences)” paket programı

kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, Acat ve Yenilmez (2004) tarafından

oluşturulan “Öğretmen Adaylarının Öğretmenlik Mesleğine İlişkin Motivasyon

Düzeyleri” ölçeği uygulanarak elde edilmiştir. Uygulama sonucunda elde edilen

Cronbach's Alpha güvenirlik katsayısı r= 0.83 bulunmuştur. Ankette elde edilen

nicel verilerin değerlendirilmesinde betimsel ve parametrik istatistik teknikleri

kullanılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin

motivasyon düzeyi % 62,8 ve X =3.89 ile “katılıyorum” şeklindedir.

The aim of this study is to underline the opinions of motivation levels of

prospective primary school teachers concerning teaching profession and to clarify

whether these opinions change or not based on their sex, year, grade and the high

school they have graduated. The population of the study is made up of 1st,2nd, 3rd

and 4th year prospective primary school teachers at Pamukkale University. As it is

impossible to obtain the whole body of the population, the prospective primary school

teachers were chosed as rated-group method. In sampling, 409 prospective

primary school teachers were included. In the analysis of the data, “SPSS for

Windows (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences)”package program was used.

prospective teachers regarding teaching profession”, which was developed by
