Sosyal bilgiler ögretmenligi egitimi program standartlarinin belirlenmesi

Araştırmada sosyal bilgiler öğretmenliği eğitimi program standartları ve bu standartların fakültelerde gerçekleşme durumu öğretim elemanlarının, öğretmen adaylarının ve öğretmenlerin görüşlerine dayalı olarak belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. İlişkisel tarama modeli niteliğinde olan araştırmanın evrenini Gazi (Kastamonu), Celal Bayar ve Selçuk Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Bölümü öğretim elemanları, öğretmen adayları ve bu fakültelerden mezun devlet okullarında çalışan sosyal bilgiler öğretmenleri oluşturmuştur. Öğretim elemanları ile öğretmen adayları alt evrenlerinin tümüne ulaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmenleri için örneklem alma yoluna gidilmiştir. Bu üniversitelerden mezun 129 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni örnekleme alınmıştır. Grupların görüşlerinin alınması için üç tür anket formu hazırlanmıştır. Standartların uygunluğunu belirlemede frekans ve yüzdeler kullanılmıştır. Önem derecesine ilişkin olarak grupların görüşleri arasında anlamlı fark olup olmadığına varyans analizi ve Scheffe testi ile, gerçekleşme durumuna ilişkin olarak grupların görüşleri arasında anlamlı fark olup olmadığına ilişkisiz örneklemler için t-testi ile bakılmıştır. Önem derecesi ile gerçekleşme durumu arasında anlamlı fark olup olmadığını belirlemede ilişkili örneklemler için t-testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre beş boyuttaki standartlar büyük ölçüde uygun bulunmuştur. Öğretim elemanları ve öğretmen adayları standartların tamamını öğretmenlerden daha önemli bulmuş, standartların önem derecesinin gerçekleşme durumundan daha yüksek olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.

In the study, it was attemped to determine curriculum standards of social studies teaching and use of these standards in faculties, based on opinions of teaching staff, teacher candidates and teachers. The population of the study that is in the model of relationship survey included teaching staff and teacher candidates from Social Studies Departments of Faculties of Education at Gazi (Kastamonu), Celal Bayar and Selçuk Üniversities and graduate teachers from these departments, who are employees of state schools. It was aimed to reach all of the sub-populations, teaching staff and teacher candidates. For social studies teachers, sampling method was used. 129 social studies teachers graduated from these universities were included in the sample. There were three questionnaire forms that were prepared to reveal the views of the groups. Frequencies and percentages were used to determine appropriateness of the standards. An analysis of variance and Scheffe Test were used to test if there is any significant difference between the groups’ opinions concerning importance level, and a t-test was used to observe, if there is any significant difference between the groups’ opinions concerning their actual use. For the related samples, a t-test was used to determine if there is any significant difference between the importance level and the actual use. According to the finding of the study, the standards in five dimensions were largely considered suitable. Teaching staff and the teacher candidates found all of the standards more important, when compared to the teachers. They stated that the importance level of the standards was higher than their actual use.
