Kktc kentsel politikasi üzerine bir değerlendirme

Bu çalışma KKTC imar ve planlama sistemini analiz etmektedir. Araştırmada, kentsel planlama sistemi detaylı olarak açıklanmış, sistemde ortaya çıkan problemler nedenleri ile birlikte ele alınmıştır. KKTC kentsel planlama sisteminin daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için öncelikle Kıbrıs Adası’nın genel durumu ortaya konulacaktır. Ayrıca bu araştırma, KKTC planlama sistemini etkileyen faktörleri incelemektedir. Bu faktörler Kıbrıs Adası’nın bölünmüş olması, KKTC’nin uluslararası alanda tanınmaması ve Kıbrıs’ın AB üyesi olmasıdır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada, KKTC’de şehir planlamasından sorumlu olan ‘Şehir Planlama Makamı’nın ne ölçüde etkili olduğu ve KKTC planlama sisteminin etkin bir şekilde çalışmamasının nedenleri sorgulanacaktır.

This study analyzes the reconstruction and urban planning system of the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). The aim of the study is explaining urban planning in detail and reveals the problems of the planning system. Primarily this research will explain general situation of Cyprus and emphasize the urban planning of the TRNC. Afterword the research analyzes planning system of TRNC in detailed. Additionally, this research investigates the effects of some factors on TRNC planning system such as; Cyprus is a divided country, TRNC is not recognized by international society, and Cyprus is an EU country. Moreover, TRNC has “urban planning authority” which is responsible for all urban planning activities in the North part of the island. The effectiveness of the “urban planning authority” will be mentioned on the research. As a reality, urban planning system of the TRNC is not working properly. Finally this study presents the problems of urban planning in TRNC.
