Web tabanlı uzaktan eğitimde sistem tasarımı

İster müstakil isterse sınıf içi derslere yardımcı mahiyette olsun, web tabanlı dersler her geçen gün daha yaygınlaşmakta ve önemi artmaktadır. Ancak etkili bir öğrenme ortamı oluşturabilmek için uzaktan eğitimi verilecek dersler hazırlanırken, öğretimsel sistem tasarımı ilkeleri göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. Bu çalışmada uzaktan eğitimde öğretimsel tasarım süreçleri anlatılmış ve Web-tabanlı asenkron ders sunumu projesi geliştirilmiştir. Ders olarak, Eğitim Fakülteleri Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Bölümlerinin 3. sınıf müfredatında yer alan “Bilgisayar Ağları ve İletişim” dersi tercih edilmiştir. Geliştirilen bu projede haftalara ayrılmış animasyon, resim ve şekil desteğiyle ders sayfaları, her hafta öğrencilerin e-mail yoluyla öğretim elemanına göndereceği ödevler, her hafta için ayrı hazırlanmış alıştırma soruları, öğrencilerin birbirleriyle ya da öğretim elemanıyla hem senkron hem de asenkron etkileşimini sağlayan forum ve chat sayfası hazırlanmış, hem görsellik olarak hem de kullanım kolaylığı göz önüne alınarak bütünleştirilmiştir.

Utilizing web-based courses, both as independent and as a support to in-class courses, is becoming more prevalent and important. While creating web-based courses, instructional systems design principles should be utilized for developing an effective learning environment. In this study, instructional systems design phases are briefly explained and, an asynchronous web based course delivery is presented. For this project, “Computer Networks and Communication” course within the 3rd year curriculum of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Departments of Education Faculties in Turkey was preferred. In the project, course web pages divided into weeks, consisting of animations, pictures and figures, weekly homework, to be sent to the instructor via e-mail by the participants, exercise questions classified week by week and message boards and chat rooms which enable students to interact between themselves and the instructor either synchronously or asynchronously were created. While creating these environments, primary considerations were features of visuality and user friendliness. Finally, all the components of the project were integrated all in one.
