Arastırma, tüketicilerin mobilyaya iliskin tercihlerinin incelenmesi amacı ile planlanmıs ve yürütülmüstür. Örneklem kapsamına Ankara’da Batıkent Kız Teknik ve Meslek Lisesi ögrenci velisi gönüllü 512 tüketici alınmıstır. Arastırma verilerinin elde edilmesinde anket tekniginden yararlanılmıstır. Tüketicilerin mobilyaya iliskin tercihlerine faktör analizi uygulanmıstır. Tüketicilerin % 45.7’sinin 40-49 yas grubunda, % 64.3.’ünün kadın, % 29.9’unun lise mezunu oldugu, % 89.8’inin evli oldugu belirlenmistir. Tüketicilerin % 39.1’inin ailesindeki birey sayısı 4 kisi, % 41.6.’sının ailesinin ortalama aylık gelir miktarı 1001-2000 TL ve % 59.8’inin oturdugu konutta ev sahibi oldugu saptanmıstır. Tüketicilerin mobilyada kullanım özellikleri tercihi ve kullanıcı beklentilerinin (p=0.014<0.05) yasa göre; mobilyada dekorasyon özellikleri tercihi (p=0.000<0.05), mobilyada kullanım özellikleri tercihi (p=0.000<0.05) ve kullanıcı beklentilerinin (p=0.001<0.05) cinsiyete göre farklılastıgı
bulunmustur. Mobilyada dekorasyon özellikleri tercihinin (p=0.036<0.05) medeni duruma göre; kullanıcı beklentilerinin (p=0.014<0.05) ailenin aylık gelir miktarına göre, mobilyada dekorasyon özellikleri tercihinin (p=0.049<0.05) oturulan konutun mülkiyet durumuna göre farklılastıgı bulunmustur.
The study was planned and carried out to investigate consumer preference related to furniture. The sampling of the study comprised of 512 consumers who were volunteer parents of the students attending to Batıkent Technical and Vocational High School for Girls in the city of Ankara. The questionnaire technique was used to gather the data. Factor analysis was applied on the preference of consumers regarding furniture. It was found that 45.7% of the consumers were in the age group of 40-49, 64.3% were women, 29.9% were high school graduates, 89.8% were married. Of the consumers, 39.1% had a household number of 4, 41.6% had an average monthly income of 1001-2000 TL and 59.8% were the owner of the house they lived. It was found that the preference of usability features (p=0.014<0.05) and user expectations (p=0.000<0.05) had difference in terms of age. The preference of usability features (p=0.000<0.05), of decoration features (p=0.000<0.05) and user expectations (p=0.001<0.05) had difference in terms of gender. It was found that the preference of usability features (p=0.036<0.05) had difference in terms of marital status, user expectations (p=0.014<0.05) had difference in terms of monthly income of the family, and the preference of decoration features (p=0.049<0.05) had difference in terms of the house inhabited.
