Eğitim değerleri açisindan çocuk kitaplari

 Çocuklar, toplumların geleceği açısından son derece önemli bireylerdir. Toplumların geleceklerinin sağlam olması, çocukların zihinsel, fiziksel ve sosyal açıdan kendileriyle ve çevreleriyle uyum içinde bulunmaları, dolayısıyla sağlıklı bir kişiliğe sahip olmaları ile mümkündür. Her açıdan gelişme döneminde olan çocuğa verilen eğitim, içinde yaşayacağı ve bireyi olacağı toplumun şekillenmesi açısından son derece önemlidir. Çocuk, yaşadığı çağı, içinde bulunduğu toplumu ve o toplumda nasıl bir yere sahip olacağını eğitim ile öğrenecektir. Kişilik gelişiminde edindiği ilk birikimler etkili olacaktır. Bu noktada çocuk edebiyatı ayrı bir önem taşımaktadır. Algı ve görsellik açısından son derece etkili ve kalıcı olan edebiyat eserleri; oyalayıcı, eğlendirici ve öğretici özellikleri bir arada bulundurur, çocukların yakın ve uzak çevrelerini tanımalarına olanak sağlar. Daha da önemlisi çocuk, okuduğu kitaplar aracılığıyla kendini tanır. İnsan hayatında büyük öneme sahip olan kitaplar, çocukluk döneminden itibaren etkili olmaya, bireyin hayatına girmeye başlamaktadır. Çocuğun duyarlı bir düşünce yapısına sahip olmasının nitelikli kitaplarla gerçekleştirilebileceği bugün artık tartışmasız kabul edilmektedir. Bir milletin çocuk edebiyatına ait ürünleri, o milletin nasıl bir gelecek istediği ile yakından ilgilidir. Çocuğa verilmesi gereken pek çok olumlu duygu, davranış şekli ve toplumsal değer, edebî eserler aracılığıyla daha kalıcı olarak verilebilir. Araştırmada, çocuk kitapları içerdikleri eğitim değerleri açısından incelenecek, edebiyat eserlerinin eğitimdeki yeri ile ilgili sonuçlara ulaşılmaya çalışılacaktır.

Children are very important individuals for the future of societies. Ensuring that the future of societies is strong is possible only by the help of children are in concordance with themselves in mental, physical, and social respect, as well as with their environment, and thus, by having a healthy personality. Educating the child who is in the developmental stage is of utmost importance in every aspect since this affects the formation of the society to which s/he will belong and live in. The child would learn the stage, the society, and her/his place in this society that s/he lives in by means of education. First experiences gained during her/his personality development will be effective. At this point, child literature has a significant importance. Literature pieces, which are very effective and long lasting in the sense of perception and visualization, contain diverting, amusing, and educating features all together, and enable children to learn about their close and far environments. Moreover, a child learns about herself/himself through the books s/he reads. Books, which have a great importance in man’s life, begin to be effective from the childhood and enter individual’s life. Today it is accepted without any doubt that a child might have a sensitive thinking structure only by qualitative books. A nation’s pieces of child literature are closely related to the kind of future the nation desires. Many positive senses, behaviours, and social values that should be given to a child might be more permanently given by literal works. In the study, books are going to be evaluated in respect of the values they contain, and conclusions are going to be reached according to the place of literature works in education.
