Kavramsal değişim metinlerinin iş, güç, enerji konusunu anlamaya etkisi

Son yıllarda fen eğitimi üzerine yapılan çok sayıda çalışmanın "kavramsal değişim yaklaşımı" denilen kavramların yeniden düzenlenmesi süreci ile ilgili olduğu görülmektedir. Öğrencilerin fen kavram, ilke ve olaylarına ilişkin yanılgılarının düzeltilmesine yardımcı olmayı amaçlayan kavramsal değişim yaklaşımı temelinde çeşitli öğretim stratejileri ve materyalleri geliştirilmiştir. Bunlardan biri de, önemi pek çok farklı fizik konusu üzerine yapılan çalışmalarla da ortaya konmuş olan kavramsal değişim metinleridir. Bu araştırma da ise kavramsal değişim metinlerinin iş, güç, enerji konusu ile ilgili kavramları yeniden düzenlemeye olan etkisi incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bu metinlerin fizik dersi ile ilgili bazı seçilmiş duyuşsal karakteristikler üzerine olan etkisi de araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada öntest-sontest desenli deneysel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Biri deney diğeri kontrol grubu olmak üzere iki grup tespit edilmiştir. Öntest ve sontest uygulamaları ile elde edilen veriler bağımsız grup t testi ve Mann - Whitney U testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Uygulama sonrasında kavramsal değişim metinlerinin uygulandığı deney grubu öğrencilerinin, kontrol grubu öğrencilerinden iş- güç- enerji kavramları açısından daha başarılı oldukları, fizik dersine karşı daha ilgili oldukları ve olumlu bir tutum sergiledikleri görülmüştür.

Recently, a great number of studies on the science education are related to the reorganization process of the science concepts named "conceptual change approaches". These approaches intend helping to the students for correcting their mistakes about science concept, principles and facts. Various teaching strategies and materials based on conceptual change approach were developed. One of them is conceptual change texts and their importance was presented by way of various studies on different physics subjects. In this study, effectiveness of conceptual change texts on reorganization of concepts about work- powerenergy subject was determined. Beside that, effectiveness of these texts on selected sensorial characteristics related to physics course was investigated. In the study the pretest- lasttest design of experimental investigation method was used. Two groups were determined; one of them was experimental group and one of them was control group. Data obtained from the pretest- lasttest applications were analysed by way of Independent- Samples t -test and Mann- Whitney's U test. According the results, the experimental group who was carried out conceptual change texts, was more succesful than the control group in terms of work- power- energy concepts and also, the experimental group had more positive attitude than the control group.
