Improving organizational commitment of workers is another component of job motivation. Improving job motivation is directly related with job satisfaction levels. For this reason, there is a high addition of wages of workers, job safety, public reputation etc. on increasing of job satisfaction of workers, and thus, on increasing of their organizational commitment. It is expected that statute differences which cause these variations may create differences in organizational commitment likewise. The aim of this study is to evaluate affects of statute differences on organizational commitment. In this research, it was evaluated that whether there is any difference on organizational commitment between nurses which are on contract and regular, working in Afyon Kocatepe University Hospital. According to this aim, 80 contracted and 80 regular nurses, 160 nurses in total, were subjected to this research. According to analysis, it is suggested that statute differences in working area makes difference on organizational commitments.
